Reviews of Broken River Drive, Shepparton
"On the river valley"
Broken River Drive is a long, winding street to the south of the main town area of Shepparton. There are houses on one side of the street only - on the other side is walking and biking tracks and paths and the surrounds of the Broken River. There is a bit of an issue with speeding traffic as some of the local hoons seem to like to use the nice, long stretch of road for burn-outs! It would be better if you didn't have your bedrooms fronting the street. The big plus of living here is the access to the river valley. It's a great little lung on the southern edge of the town. The river is pretty brown and silted up but kids will still find plenty to do along and around it. Summer evenings along here are perfect and everyone gets out and enjoys it. Pretty much all the homes along Broken River Drive are modern and very well kept with nice rose gardens etc. There are good schools and preschools nearby and it's not far to Kialla Lakes, which provides more walking and biking tracks. To sum up: one of the town's "good streets" but for a quieter life, choose one of the nearby courts.
