Do I need to be a horse lover to live in Brookfield?

Hi! We've spent the last 10 years living in Perth and Sydney and are now seriously considering a move to Brookfield (acreage property) next year. Will have a new baby and a 5yro boy. Love the look of the large properties and open spaces. Only thing is.. we're not 'horsey people'. Nothing against horses/people who love horses, but just wonder if we'll be outsiders because of this?? Would love to hear your thoughts! Also, I run a business from home so need a good internet connection and phone service. Hubby hopes to cycle to the city for work. Thanks so much! Mandy
