Info on the Bay Aquatic Park?

We took our youngest son to the Broomfield Bay along with a couple of his friends. They were in grade school at the time and they really had a lot of fun. The lines are short and move quickly, they have several water slides, a wave pool and an innertube slide. I felt the price was reasonable as a non-Broomfield resident and I also had fun going on all of the slides many times myself. A lot less crowded than Elitches Water Park. Elitches does have some longer, faster slides, but the lines are longer as well. Might be a bit boring for older kids. But all in all worth going to with the family.

Funny, I have lived in Boulder County for 18 years and have never even heard of Bay Aquatic Park

The Bay Aquatic Park in Broomfield is geared towards families with children under 13. It is a MUCH cheaper place to take the kids than Water World or Elitches, but it also doesn't have anywhere near the same attractions. I prefer smaller water parks with my younger kids because it is much easier to keep track of them, unlike at Water World. The prices are really inexpensive for Broomfield residents, but double for non-residents.
