Brown Street, Chatswood, NSW 2067

Brown Street is ideal for the younger working demographic who value easy access to public transportation and shops. The street is dominated by high rise apartments, so it is less ideal for large families.

Brown Street is right across the major Chatswood train interchange which currently in the process of being upgraded. Bus stops are also located along Brown Street and the adjacent Victoria Avenue.

Chatswood is a major shopping destination. Two large shopping malls - Westfield and Chatswood Chase - are within 10 to 15 minutes walk away. Food options at night is less than ideal as surprisingly, Chatswood does not have many restaurants.

The area is completely safe and there are generally people around. The only issue is that traffic noise is a bit annoying. Occassionally you will also hear some idiots roaring up and down Victoria Avenue.
