Reviews of Brundrett Road, Narre Warren North
"Home of the original Rose Farm...."
Brundrett Road was the original home to the Brundretts Rose Farm, which was one of Australia's oldest established rose nursery, having formed in 1893. They shut down the farm a couple of years ago and the area was subdivided hence the name of the streets.
Partly dirt road, the road was extended as part of the Aranmore Estate development, and now extends all of the way to Crawley Road / Robinsons Road to Harkaway.
These new blocks at the top end of Brundrett Road (and backing onto Kurll Park) are very high steep blocks (1 acre) with some amazing views.
When the Aranmore estate was first launched 10 years ago, the price of blocks were around $87K, now returning $400K plus for vacant blocks.
Be sure to check for granite beneath the surface if you are looking to build. Also be aware that powerlines run the length of Brundrett Road (but not the new part). Also part of Brundrett Road is still unsealed.
Also a new estate off Brundrett Road (the flat part) was recently made available - Tara Park.
Some older properties (20 years +) run alongside Brundrett Road and Harries Court.
