Relocating to caloundra/golden beach

Caloundra, QLD 4551 is located within the Caloundra local government area, part of the Sunshine Coast Region in Queensland.

We are relocating from tropical nth qld. we have primary school children. any suggestions for areas to rent close to good state primary school, shops etc.

what about pelican waters area? golden beach/shelly beach?

Pelican Waters can be a little expensive to rent in compared to Golden Beach. Schools are fantastic however. Most areas of Caloundra have pretty good pricing as it is still not favoured by Sunshine Coast locals.

If looking for beachside - Dicky Beach, Moffat Beach & Shelley Beach great areas. Currimundi lakeside great for young children. Good schools nearby.

Golden Beach has a great family friendly atmosphere, and Pelican Waters has a fantastic school- Caloundra City Private School.

The rental market in Caloundra is mostly small to large families and the weekly price is far less than some of the more 'central' suburbs like Mooloolaba or Alexandra Headland. Homes in this area are generally bigger and have more space. Great area to be renting in!
