Is Camden a good area to open a dental practice?

Hi, I was thinking of opening a dental practice in this area. Just wondering is this a good area to open? How do people view dental practice in this area? And is there a need for dentists here to reduce waiting list time? Can people in this area afford dental care since it is not subsidise by the government?

It would depend on your reputation and the amount that you charge. There are three dental practices in the centre of Camden that I know of.

Remember that Camden is a bit of a regional capital. Camden and the surrounding suburbs are generally affluent - there are Bentleys, Rolls-Royces and Mercedes often parked in the main shopping street. However, some of the newer suburbs, such as Spring Farm etc, look like areas where mortgage stress will be a problem.

Best advice that I can give is to visit the area.
