It's close to the Grampians and Dunkeld, not too far from Warrnambool and the Great Ocean Rd and only a few hours from Melbourne by car or a quick flight by plane from Hamilton's airport to Melbourne or Adelaide. You can get a good house here for not too much money and with the falling house market in Melbourne and rising interest rates living in this area really is the best value for your dollar. Escape the crazy mortgage treadmill and live a peaceful country style life with all the ammenities you could need to bring up a family or retire. Oh and we both got jobs in Hamilton the day we moved here.
