Carmody Court, Petrie, QLD 4502

A quiet street following the banks of the north pine river. Some homes have magnificent water views, all have easy/direct access to the river trails through to either mungarra reserve or sweeneys. Developed within the Petrie on Pine estate, Carmody court offers a range of living options from modest 3-4 bedroom homes to very large homes on very large blocks. Construction is typically brick veneer with a some very nice reproduction queenslanders. Carmody Ct was extended in 2004 with the Riverbrook development providing an additional 7 blocks of land (2 still vacant). This section really does provide a mix of styles so there will be something for everyone. Typically the homes in this section are very big, however the recent construction of these homes and vacant blocks does seem to leave it a little behind the earlier section of the street in terms of having finished/established gardens. No doubt this will change in time and pair nicely with the rest of the street. Recently 3 additional blocks were provided services from Carmody court. These blocks are at the very end of the street and currently accessed by an unsealed service lane. There is one relocated queenslander down the end, this section also feels somewhat disjointed from the rest of the street, but again this should change over time. This was not a formal development rather servicing of blocks that had been subdivided many years ago. There are two vacant blocks in this section also (but one does have a large shed on it). Well worth a visit and well worth hunting down a home in this street if you are looking for a move...there really is something for everyone.
