What New York City neighborhoods are similar to Chelsea? I am looking to move to New York City soon.

Chelsea west of 8th Avenue resembles the West Village quite a lot. It doesn't have the same energy, but the buildings are old and quite beautiful and there are a lot of trees. Chelsea east of 8th Avenue resembles Flatiron. The buildings are large and there's a lot of commercial space and traffic.
