Houses are over-priced. You can buy a much nicer house with a pool at the coast for less than a average house in Toowoomba. I think food and entertainment is a lot more expensive here too. Petrol is expensive, and you have to drive everywhere because the public transport is non-existent, and everything is so spread out.
