It can be busy during peak hours, I lived directly on the Brooker Highway for a number of years and to be honest it is not that noisy, you get used it to it and the convince of being only 2 to 7 minutes drive to the CBD center out ways any negatives,

Yes, very, and noisy, too. I recommend places between the highway and the river, downhill from it, for least impact.
