Is there a lot of crime around Clifton Beach?

Clifton Beach, QLD 4879 is located within the Cairns local government area, part of the Far North Region in Queensland.

Friends just went up to do an inspection in Clifton Beach and heard (anecdotal) that there are break ins and "you can't have a good car". Is there any truth to this?

No truth to it.
Clifton Beach is one of the safest suburbs in Cairns, along with Palm Cove.
