There is a great reason that Cold Spring Harbor is called just that...we are fortunate to be surrounded by water. Boating, paddle boarding, fishing, or simply enjoying the view...the sunset in Cold Spring Harbor is breathtaking! Possibly, the very best thing to do on the weekend is relax and be extremely thankful that you live in such a beautiful area!

You can hike the Green Belt trail behind the library. Great views of the harbor from up high. You can drive out to Caumsett Park and go bike riding, hiking, walking, etc. You can pay money at the gate or use an Empire Pass which allows you entrance to all NY State parks!
