"The best of both worlds"
Collinsvale is a wonderful place to live. A very pretty Hamlet with most parts having million dollar views. I dont think you could find this anywhere else and at such a reasonable price.
Offers the best of both worlds with absolute peace and quiet and yet is within easy access of Glenorchy/Claremont and only 25 minutes from Hobart itself.
The locals are very friendly and it has a wonderful sense of community.
An abundance of Birds and Wildlife visit on a daily basis.

"Purity, Peace & Quiet"
I love living here everything is so close from Collinsvale; you've got Glenorchy township a 10 min roll down the hill and its 30 mins to Hobart. Its cheap to live up here and to live on huge aceage and be so close to town. What would you pay if this was Melbourne/Sydney?
Its the best kept secret in Tassie and the locals dont want you to know about it!!!

"Best Kept Secret with friendly Wildlife"
Collinsvale has high altitude, pure air, fresh spring water, large acreage lots, privacy, room to move, very country and the smell of the bush and also picturesque countryside. Great wildlife on property, no need to visit a zoo. Great place to bring up kids and the locals are friendly.

Yes its great if you have money and the locals can be friendly or bloody noisy, all depends where you live. It is getting worse up there with hoons, idiots on trial bikes, morons who drive down the road stupidly. The road in winter can be fraught with danger, bush fire season is dangerous. I love how mainlanders or people from Hobart move to Collinsvale and they are suddenly transformed into thinking how amazing the area is. They move into the area pushing locals out and claiming the village as their own, not even been there 5 minutes, its sickening. What about all the dead wildlife on the roads, what about that?
