New couple looking to move in?

My partner and I visited Cowra late last year and absolutely fell in love with the area.
I was wondering if I could have some local feedback though, He is studying to become a Science/maths teacher and could also do some music and english classes. Would he have easy access to a highschool job? In my current area there are a lot of science/maths jobs around, but we are unsure of the trends within cowra.
I myself am studying social science, I am currently looking at doing policing, human resources or something similar, would these degrees/professions be wise for an area like cowra? I understand that due to the area/size that jobs may be sparse?
