"One of Three Streets"
Cox Street is one of three streets in McBeath, Beckett and Dehe being the others. It provides unsealed access to some of the homes in this community and runs behind the school and purpose built art gallery. Many residents here are artists and members of the Cox Family, hence the street’s name. As well as the school there is a clinic, with a doctor visiting regularly. The nearest town is Halls Creek, 120 km away.
