"Scenic sanctuary off the beaten path"
Located just under 15 minutes on an unsealed road from Gembrook, Currawong Drive is sandwiched between Kurth Kiln and Bunyip State Parks. It is a peaceful serene place to live, with beaufitul wildlife on your doorstep. Lyrebirds, wallabies, echidnas, parrots, rosellas and much much more.
Currawong Drive is off the grid but with a good solar/generator set up, you easily forget that you are self-sufficient. It's wonderful not having huge utility bills, especially given their ever rising prices.
A vehicle is a necessity. Mobile phone access is sporadic to say the least, Telstra provide the best coverage. We currently use satellite broadband, which is satisfactory for your requirements.
Excellent for peace and quiet, low cost of living, clean and green, nature lovers, bush walkers, 4WDing, trail biking, far from the maddening crowd!
