Reviews of Curtis Street, Manly

"GREAT STREET, PARKS, FOOTPATHS, TABLE TENNIS,SCOUTS DEN"

Curtis street is a great place to live. It does run off a main road but it is a rather quiet street. every body has off street parking which stops any congestion on curtis street. the street is extremely handy to transport. the street would be no longer than 400mtrs long at one end is Manly Train Station and the other end is Bus stop which commutes people to wynnum, capalaba, cannon hill and westfield carindale shopping centres. A new fitness centre has opened up at wynnum plaza which is the best set up fitness centre i have ever been to. so no need for a car to live in this street. The wynnum manly hospital is about 400mtrs down the road which has short waiting times. At times it is quicker to see a doctor at the hospital than a medical centre.
Curtis street has 2 parks one park has a fully functional play ground with swings, slides, and climbing equipment, and lots of open area to kick a ball around and seat for the older ones to relax and read book. the other park is a enviromental park with lots of lovely trees, located on the grounds is the scouts hall, woodchoppers association and directly next door is the table tennis association. Curtis street has become a very popular street for early morning walkers and afternoon walkers. the street consists of a mixture of young families with children and retired couples. There are 3 primary schools all within 1klm and a highschool. it is a 10 minutes leasure walk down to Manly Harbour it has casual to fine dining, alfresco. local Manly hotel with live entertainment and bear garden. Lots of walking paths along the foreshore for your daily exercise. this is a very busy area with people of all ages enjoying the outdoors from bbq, picnics, swimming, yachting, bird watching or just relaxing under a tree in the park and reading a book
