Areas to avoid?

Are there any specific areas or streets to avoid in Deception Bay? We are looking to purchase in coming months and move our young family from Sydney by the end of the year, as its a good commute to Brisbane and prices are really cheap compared to what we are used to. But, looking from interstate is difficult, so I'm wondering please if anyone can advise of any particular trouble spots or streets to avoid buying in. Any help would be greatly appreciated?

Deception Bay is a beautiful suburb to live in. Some call it a secret coastal hideaway that most people don't know of. Yes, it used to be a housing commission area with blocks in some streets only 405 sqm. Crime here used to be bad. But the suburb is changing and some say it's being 'gentrified' - and more homes are owner-occupied. We are five minutes walk to the esplanade which is beautifully kept by the council. Don't believe the nay-sayers. We have met southerners who are delighted to live here.

Areas to avoid? I can tell you that right now. It's called Deception Bay. Every Street of this suburb. avoid Deception Bay like the plague. Nasty crime ridden dump full of drug addicts. it is cheap because it is undesirable with no beaches just smelly mangroves with the stink of leaking public toilet sewage at the bayside. In any cities the cheaper the suburb the nastier it gets.
