Help we are relocating and need to know more info on the area
Hi my husband has just been relocated to derrimut Vic for work so myself my husband and our 3 young children are considering moving from sydney down there wanted to get some opinions on what the derrimut is like and surrounding areas and areas to stay clear of thankyou in advance

It's a pretty safe area made up of families and young professionals. I was pretty hesitant originally to move to the Derrimut/New Deer Park area, but after years here it has grown on me. Houses here are new and value for money compared to other areas. Lots of parks and shops around, with a new train upgrade being built ready in 2024

Derrimut is pretty good, lots of parks for the children to play, lots of shopping centres 10-15 min drive away. Surrounding area in Caroline Springs is nice also. As for areas within Derrimut to steer clear from none come to mind. But have a look around the street where you're wanting to live, get an idea of how it feels, or check street view if your not able to look in person. All the best
