Reviews of Deviot, TAS
"THE PERFECT TOWN"
Deviot is a very peaceful town located 20-25 minutes from the city of Launceston. You are surrounded by nature making it very easy to get up and go for a stroll along the water. The community of Deviot is tight knit, always saying hello and smiling which is very welcoming!

"Quiet suburb, picturesque spot in the valley"
Deviot is a quiet suburb, it is located on the Tamar River. using the East Tamar highway it only takes 20-25 minutes into the city of Launceston.
The Gunns pulp mill when it is built will be out of sight and is another 20 minutes up the river on the other side, so this will be good for those commuting to that site for work or to Bell Bay.
There are schools within 15 minutes of Deviot at Exeter and Beaconsfield. There is a hospital at Beaconsfield as well as Doctor surgery's in both Exeter and Beaconsfield. There is shopping facilities in Exeter and Beaconsfield consisting of smaller supermarkets and specialty shops. woolworths in legana is a 15-20 minute drive.
