Are snakes a problem in Diamond Creek?

Doesn't matter where you are in Australia, suburbia won't have snakes, outer suburbia connected to creeks/parks will have a higher possibility and rural will have snakes everywhere.

Just stick on paths/tracks and you won't step on them, you may come across them sunbathing on a track, but they will move for you. No snakes in Aus will chase you, they will run away, or crawl away, whatever.

After 12 years, we've seen exactly two snakes anywhere near our property. I don't consider them a problem myself. Of course, there will be snakes, like anywhere, so it's important to be aware and cautious.
