There aren't really any formal gardens in Diamond Creek, but there are 2 main football ovals on the Chute Street side of the train tracks on the way into town. The netball courts near the Shell servo have a childrens play park and the bike track that runs along the creek to Eltham has a number of parks and reserves dotted along its route. There is a smaller park at the bottom of Broad Gully Road near Gipson Street and a few other reserves with childrens play areas scattered through the smaller streets.
