Man, After living in many suburbs of Darwin and Palmerston over the years I've been here, and moving to HS for the piuece and quiet, and tranquility/wildlife/nature, my Wife & I are LOVING it. We wouldn't swap it for the world.. We wake up and hear the birds chirping, not cars driving past, we sit out at night and listen to the tranquility, not our neighbours partying. It's just so awesome. We're 31 years young and find we feel peaceful here, and the neighbours are all great, very friendly but it's really good too because they're not too friendly. In Bakewell I had this neighbour who used to chat EVERY TIME he saw me.. I used to hide so he wouldn't see me. These neighbours are all here for the same reason as we are, piece n quiet, they will say G'day and maybe introduce themselfes, but thats it, and thats the way we like it.
All in all, it gets a 100% from us. Crime is non-existant, our pets love it! And we now have freshly laid, free range eggs every day.
