Is Drouin a good suburb to invest in?

Think about buying a long term investment property amd was wondering what the locals think about the future for Drouin 3818 is.

Hi, I have lived in Drouin my whole life, it has gone from a small country town, to a town that is developing quiet quickly. There is a new subdivision that they have just opened up the new displays at called Ferntree Ridge which is going to have 500 lots in it with school, shopping facilities etc. If you are looking to buy something new four bedrooms are the most popular and are getting returns of $400 - $450 per week. The older homes depending on the area and what it has they are getting anywhere from $310-$400. The new homes seem to be the most popular and to build a house and land package for the returns the area is getting is a good investment.
