Reviews of Eagle Beach Parade, Dundowran Beach
"Right on the beach and great neighbourhood"
Beautiful secluded beaches. I love to walk out on the tidal flats (sand) with the little fish and tiny crabs scurrying along with you. Friendly and safe even though quite new estate there is a good mix of families with very young children, teenagers and retirees. Only 6 klm to the centre of town, Room to move, beautiful gardens and lagoons filled with waterlillies and waterbirds and turtles.
Great for
- Very close to beach
- Feeding birds and turtles on the lagoons
- Room to move with large blocks
Not great for
- Street needs more shade trees

"Think first"
Is Real Estate a joke is Hervey Bay...There's no jobs, no infrastructure, no entertainment, no boutique shops. Dangerous dogs roaming around Dundowran area. Oh it has Fraser Island..but the coast is all tidal mudflats compared to 90% of Australia enjoying beautiful beaches and surf...It's no wonder that the properties in Hervey Bay haven't moved...Well outpriced considering what you get North or South of the Town.
Even Townsville with similar coastal shores at least offers more work compared to "Hey but wait Hervey Bay is going to be next to some new, possible coal mines" hahahaha.
Get REAL...bring your land prices down, create clean local sustainable work for today and the future and attract young families that will grow your community. Because as it stands - young families are leaving in droves if they can escape, and the only interested buyers are the Estae agents themselves...Good luck!

Are you sure you have lived here at Dundowran Beach?? No tidal mudflats here, tidal yes. That's what tides do, go in, go out, and a long way. Lovely to walk out on the tidal flats (sand) with the little fish and tiny crabs scurrying along with you. Bring our prices down? Really, when land costs around $250k and buildin a house about $250k add pool, driveway and sheds $100k, then maybe you NEED $600. What you need to do is look in more economical places and stop berating others for living in their slice of paradise. As for living north - stingers, crocs and south - rat race and traffic jams thats why people here are trying to create a livable lifestyle. People have to get into the community and support it, economically and socially. It is a great place..I've been here 6.5 yeras and love it.
