Is it safe in 2018. Sugarcane park gets lots of car break-ins. What is safest, quietest part

Hello, living in cairns you either on the north or south side. North side is the beaches, far more expensive to live, whether renting or buying. Very relaxing if you can afford it though and are not planning on commuting into the city often coz the roundabouts are annoying during peak hour.

We live at white rock on the south side. Close to city, straight on the highway and your there. White rock has a terrrible reputation, but let me assure you some parts are lovely and we have had no problems whatsoever. We live in picnic street, if you can get a place here I strongly recommend it. Parts of mount Sheridan are dodgy, forest gardens is your pick there. Edmonton and Bentley park are a bit further out. Mixed reviews about them. If I could live anywhere in cairns it would be high up on bay view heights. Cairns is gorgeous, most people are great, including Aboriginal folk. Don’t listen to any racist rubbish about them being otherwise.
