You are actually getting great value for money in Elwood. It's the 2nd most affordable in that Bayside stretch with St Kilda being a little cheaper. For families on a budget (relative to that area) Elwood is the suburb to go for.

Not sure what you're asking? Are they expensive? 3 bedroom house on a 250-300 m2 block about 1.3m depending on where it is in the suburb.
