It depends where you are travelling to. But if you are travelling into the city it is terrible and that's why it is nicknamed the Monash carpark.

I travel on the Monash from the South Eastern Suburbs into the CBD and back again on weekdays. The traffic will slowly build from around 6am to 8.45am in the morning and 4.00pm to 6.00pm in the evening during these times a 45 minute journey can turn into an hour and a half of stop-start traffic. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
