Those are good suggestions. You could also walk around Evergreen Lake (once the bridges and walk-ways are restored). You could also try Dedisse Park, O'Fallan Park, or Lair O the Bear.

I would try Elk Meadow, Three sisters or if you want to go south Flying J park. Everyone has loops and maps at the entrances.
