Are there any good real estate deals in Evergreen right now?

BroncoFan: We lived in Loveland (just S of Ft Collins) when we moved to CO in '82, raised our sons there. 10 years later went to FL and lived aboard our sailboat, 10 years later moved back to CO (Aurora where our son lived), then to Evergreen. Sounds like we have taken slightly similar paths on the way to Evergreen:-)! We bought a bank-owned home here and love being in the foothills. My husband drives to Brighton for work every day and considers that a good trade-off to live here. The trip takes him about the same amount of time it took from Aurora as there is less traffic congestion in this direction than on/near N-S I-225. Absolutely! The deals are so good that buyers are competing for them. I had one sale in Evergreen recently where 7 buyers made offers and it sold for more than $20,000 above list price!

Evergreen sounds good for you! Interesting about the bank owned homes around the area, I hope you find just the right place. Thats great that your husband can have early retirement, maybe you guys could live on a boat for a couple years:)
