Reviews of Fannie Bay, NT
"Great location but not perfect"
I lived on a busy street with lots of traffic and Aboriginals that liked screaming at each other all day as they migrated through the suburb to the next greencan dreamtime spot. It almost felt unsafe to be outside at night unless the police were nearby. Otherwise great location close to parap markets, the city and beach.

"This is where you want to be in Darwin"
This suburb is the best of "old Darwin". Tropical houses, big blocks of land & old established gardens. Away from the small block suburbs where everyone is jammed in close - there is room to move here. Close access to clean beaches, unbelievable sunsets at the friendly & casual Sailing Club, a true food market at Parap is walking distance - this suburb really has it all for professionals & families - all just 10 minutes from the CBD (if you get stuck in traffic!). Our family has grown up here & we wouldnt consider living anywhere else in Darwin.

"A wonderful place to grow up in"
I have been living in Fannie Bay with my family for 11yrs. It has been a wonderful place for community, recreation, sports and education. Its easy access to the East Point walking path and the beach makes for many lovely family occaisions. Close to the Parap Markets on a Saturday morning, fantastic shops, sporting facilities and a ballroom dancing studio. I would recommend this suburb to anyone.

"A Safe and established place"
Very laid back place to live in. it is very close to Richardson Park. There are a few schools around. it is a perfect place for young families. Not too far from there is Charles Darwin National Park
