"Quiet, friendly, established, good value - great for young families"
We were never too sure if the area would be safe and secure, until we moved in a few years ago, and have had a really positive experience living here. Our 9 month hunt for a house has resulted in us finding a lovely, warm, established, cozy home, with a few things left to make it 'our own' and all the comforts and conveniences we needed as first home buyers with no renovating skills!
The area gives easy access to the city, with a safe stroll down a wide and bright lane to the shops and trains. Close to Lat Trobe Uni and Greensborough Shopping Centre, as well as a lovely local butcher, modern and classy restaurant, and convenient stores, everything we need is close by. The playground is recently updated and the kids love it, though some more shade would be great ;) and the local traders association regularly organise events and activities to boost community spirit.
Neighbours are friendly, many properties in the area have been subdivided with 50s homes sharing their old backyard with newer units.
