Is there any aircraft noise in Fig Tree Pocket?
Hi all, I have seen Fig Tree Pocket on the arrival flight path, but given the distance to the airport, is the aircraft noise bothering you?

Hi - I have lived in Fig Tree Pocket now for about 2.5 years. At times (depending on prevailing winds I guess) jets bound for Brisbane Airport do fly over the suburb. However, as you wrote, Fig Tree Pocket is still quite a distance from the airport and so you really do not hear them. I only notice them when I am out walking the dog in the morning. Its not the noise so much as seeing them. In short for me personally there is no impact. I hope this helps.
