Reviews of Forsayth, QLD

"Why we recommend Forsayth to another Australian."

Lot 161 eighth street Forsayth is the last street and is located at the southern end of town. It is shared by ourself and our neighbour. We share a street corner each, our front and side views are unspoiled rocky granite hills, within the town common. We have found Forsayth to be a laid back friendly community, with activities for senior and youth, beautiful sunrise and sunsets, wonderful place for star gazing, amazing bird life. No pollution or traffic lights, a painters paradise. If you are into fossicking, we have not far from Forsayth, some of the worlds best thunder eggs and agates. Gold field on your door step. If you like camping, exploring and fishing for wild barra 'that's choice'. Once a year we have a show called "Forsayth Turnout" with spectular fireworks in the evening. We arrived in Forsayth 27 years age, before electricty was even here. We have seen forsayth grow in infratructure and we definily say that Forsayth is greener in funa. So is there need to say more.
Best of Luck.

"Great Country Life"

We have found the climate in forsayth is great for people who suffer
from arthristis. Also the climate is good for growing a vast variety of vegies, fruit trees and funa. Years after the mining boom, the great train ride became famous, which carted cattle, passengers, freight, and ore for a short period. Then the big blue diesel were replaced by the motor rail, known today as the Savannah Lander. Today tourist attractions to name a few are cobbold gorge, agate creek and gold prospectors reserves. Forsayth is one of few gold fields that have crystal line gold nuggets, and occasional rare find of denrite gold nuggets. We have open cut and under ground gold mining still happening today. We have lived in Forsayth 27 years and have raised four children. This is just a small part of Forsayth we wanted to share with you.
