I'd be surprised. I think demand will keep prices high. The school districts are very good and on Long Island, people are willing to pay for good schools by way of pricier homes and high taxes, which keeps out people who can't afford those. I do think people who illegally carve up their homes to rent create a threat to the quality of life but I also think towns and villages need to be diligent about cracking down on those things.
