Reviews of Geebung, QLD
"Not good"
I lived here many years ago and would never do so again, its amazing how many people on social media groups and pages mention Geebung especially for crime which is saddening. Quite dirty with paths around the suburb of poor quality and covered in black grime. Roads aren't of good condition either.
"Love Geebung!"
We have been in the area for about a year now and we absolutely love it! So convenient, quiet and safe. We feel so lucky to have found ourselves here. There is such a great sense of community, fantastic schools and green spaces. It is perfect for family life. It’s got good transport options and only a couple of minutes from Westfield Chermside. Many of the old post-war homes are being renovated or replaced so you definitely get the sense that the suburb is on the up. It is a quiet suburb so it probably wouldn’t suit you if you’re looking for nightlife. It would be great to see a rejuvenation of the local shops, though I suspect this will happen over time.

Larissa Street GEEBUNG. Why live anywhere else.
After living in the area for 3 years I acquired a sales position at Rentrhino/Patricia Sherman Real Estate which sits smack in the middle of Wavell Heights, Chermside and Geebung.
Most of the listings through our office over the past 12 months have been within the Geebung area. I can say one thing for sure, "they sell fast".
Geebung's an affordable area with a rapidly growing reputation. I'm in a quiet pocket that runs along Marchant Park allowing great access to Kids Space and Chermside Shopping Centre.
Alot of properties in the area sit high on the hill, provide a beautiful breeze and a nice outlook.
Once upon a time it may have hiding under the radar. Now with improvements at the local schools, an enormous Shopping Centre on our doorstep as well as alot of renovations in the area.
I see it slowly but surely creeping up.
