Is it safe enough
George Town, TAS 7253 is located within the George Town local government area, part of the null Region in Tasmania.
We are looking to make the move to George Town, but iv seen so many bad reviews that I was hoping to get a fresh updated honest review before we move with our 2 children.

George Town is a town that is expanding and a hidden gem for young family’s getting a foot in the property market.
With the new bike trail hospital sports and fitness all showing a lovely place to live.
Choice of schools and with Launceston only 35 mins away .
Launceston airport perfect for family to visit from the main land.
As for safe well it’s not a big place and the local police are aware of the problems as they arrive and deal with them .
Like any town in Australia there’s always some low life’s but with George Town been small makes crime a lot easier to deal with unlike big cities.
In 3 years never a problem.
