Gingers Lane used to be a country lane, but we now have 3 large housing estates situated on it now ranging from suburban blocks to acreage. The traffic has increased a little, but at least we have a tar road now!! (it used to be dirt you see!!).

We are quite rural, so there are the motor cross bikes to contend with, but they are mostly on the weekends in the afternoon and then there are the cows that wander onto the road and the ducks that seem to think they own the place.

There are lots of lovely trees, native plants and wildlife...so it you don't like the "bush" then this is not the place for you.

We have a main street which has the local post office, fruit and veg shop, pet supplier, lots of pubs, bread shops, local independant supermarket, beauty therapist, hairdressers, papershop, renovation supplier, dentist, scrapbooking shop, craft shop, vet, fish and chip shop.

It is a nice area for families, there is a selection of schools, child care centres, vacation programmes etc. There are quite a few parks and walking tracks.

Kurri Kurri is only a few kilometers drive and is well equiped with all the mod cons for your daily life requirements.

But if you like the big shopping centres, then Stockland Greenhills is for you. It is about 15mins drive from Sawyers Gully and has just about everything you need, except adquate parking for the increase in residents over the last few years.
