How is the driving access from Gisborne to Melbourne CBD?

Easy, I work just outside the CBD and when I drive in often get in quicker than colleagues who live in box hill, or similar eastern suburbs, and travel less than half the distance. Straight down the Calder generally no major issues until you close to CBD, where everyone else does.
