What is the latest situation with real estate in Gladstone? Are people predicting prices to go up?
Gladstone City, QLD 4680 is located within the Gladstone local government area, part of the Fitzroy Region in Queensland.
We are considering buying a house in Gladstone but I’m concerned that the market will crash as soon as all construction is finished and i will be left with a big mortgage and a house I can’t sell...

It's true the real estate situation has changed since about 12-18 months ago. The market is very competitive with a high number of properties listed. This makes for a wide choice for the buyers. We are finding new listings need to be priced as close as possible to where buyers will perceive value, otherwise they just aren't interested. Will the market crash? We don't think it will crash. It certainly isn't a negative or down market. Properties are processing, sellers just need to be realistic and listen to advice. The only direction is up!!!

Hi Melissa, My wife and I are lookingto move to Gladstone in February 19,retirement age but wife Will be Aged Care qualified. From viewing web sites rentals are very reasonable and olentiful. Still the case? Appreciate your advice. Ron.
