Is there a water park in Golden?

A little local tip - if you go after 4 or 4:40 in the afternoon they drastically reduce the entry fee and you still get a few good hours of solid sun poolside. Works great for an afternoon treat after a long day in the summer heat!

Sure does - THE SPLASH (splashingolden.com). It is pretty cool for a community pool and not super expensive. There are two large water slides (use with or without a tube) and a kid water play are that my 5 year old loves. It includes a huge randomly dumping bucket of water, pumping water guns and some smaller slides. There is also a toddler area with smaller fountains and a sandbox area. Great family fun!
