"Quipet Township with exceptionally cheap housing only 19 km from Penola."
Have lived/worked in the area and have found neighbours very friendly. Housing is very cheap and ideal for retirees or young families starting out with very affordable housing. Timber framed housing usually requires maintenance, but there has been low reports of white ants in this area. The towenship of Nangwarry is 32 km north of Mount Gambier - a major regional area - and only 19 km south of Penola and the famous Coonawarra wine district.
