Where does one start to tell of the best things about where we live. Firstly, we have to say that it is our home itself, it is warm, comfy and has plenty of space and is a truly lovely environment. While overlooking beautiful parkland with a northerly aspect the house gives you a 180 degree outlook. We can watch the sunrise and enjoy magnificent sunsets over the Watagan Mountains and one cannot forget the 150 varieties of birds that live opposite. At dusk and into the night we have visits from a local mob of friendly kangaroos while the night sky is always fascinating to watch. We live only a short walking distance from the shoreline of Lake Macquarie so we have easy access for pleasant walks, fishing, boating as well as other water activities. Walking your dog you can meet many others doing the same so allow a little extra time for a chat. We have a friendly neighbourhood and as neighbours we communicate well without living in each others home. Shopping and a visit to the many beaches and National Park are only short distances away while Sydney and Newcastle are accessible under one hour. Of course train transport via morisset is only 15 minutes away and let us not forget the Hunter Valley wine region which is about 40 minutes away.
You might ask then why are we selling well the answer is for family reasons. Our home and area where we live are truly beautiful and we doubt we will never find, in our view, a more beautiful abode wherever we move to.
