No place is perfect but I think Hamilton is about as safe as it gets .raised two kids here and never had a problem and don't think there is a better place to raise a family ,kids can walk or ride to school great schools with excellent facilities no traffic jambs walk home at night great social life and fabulous nature all around beach 1 hr south Grampians 30 minutes north coonawarra 1 hr west glenelg national park 1hr south west to name a few.
