"Not great for families with young children"
Cons: Street is off Rosenthal St which is a main road often with buses and busy traffic during the day.
There is usually a person riding a dirtbike up and down the street everyday which is excessively loud. This is very bad if you have young kids trying to nap!
There have been brawls on the street on a Saturday night - we have had to call the police a number of times.
There are often teenagers roaming aimlessly around the street.
Neighbours are often having domestic disputes which can be heard all the way down the street.
The houses in the area are mostly rented by low income earners - houses are often badly kept.
Pro: Very close to Rainbow IGA, Blockbuster, Medical Centre, Cafe, Pharmacy & Hairdresser.
30 min walk to railway station.
Good if you're looking for cheap rent and not too fusy about the area.

true, most of doonside is a shithole, druggos, and department of housing. Happy renters, but make sure your place is secure, they will steal everything that is not nailed down.
