"Big Homes on Large Blocks"
This street runs beside the Toowoomba Showgrounds and is very busy with traffic at certain times of the year. The blocks and houses are large but it is near a large quarry.
Harvey Road is a fair way out of Toowoomba, and takes a while to get into the CBD or other areas.

I live very near to Harvey Road and, yes, while there are busy times they are about three times a year and only last for two or three days at the most. As for the quarry, I completely forget it's there, never have I heard anything. If by "a while" you mean 10 - 15 minute drive (depending on traffic), then sure, it takes a while to get to the CBD. The second most popular shopping centre in Toowoomba (Clifford Gardens) is only about a seven minute drive from Harvey Road.
As for "fair way out of Toowoomba" actually, it is part of Toowoomba. Living that near to the showground also has it's perks, as during the easter show free tickets are given to those who live around the showgrounds area. The only complaint I would have about living near the showgrounds is the noise when there are moterbike ralleys. These happen about once a year and only last for a few days, certainly not a reason to live here though
