How is the name "Warranqite" pronounced?

We lived in Warranqite Cres for several years. We and most of the neighbours prounounced it 'Warrankite'
(although, I believe it could be named after an old rural property of the same spelling, which I understand was pronounced 'Warrankitty', just as a bit of trivia)
