Hi Anne,
Generrally speaking when people are enquiring about moving to Drouin they usually first look to be on the north side of town. This is mainly because the town centre is on the north side of the railway line.
The other reason is during school pickup/dropoff, the roads become gridlocked due to everyone trying to get over the only overpass in the town-centre and if you're on the south side, there can be a bit of a delay.
Aside from that, there's a good mix of old and new, small and large properties on both sides with the main sporting facilities on the south side too. I hope this has helped with your question.
